  • Relation symmetries – particle classification. Izospin. "Eightfold path", quarks
  • Local (gauge) symmetries. Gauge theory as a theory of interacting particles
  • Quantum electrodynamics. Non-Abelean gauge theory, quantum chromodynamics
  • Electroweak theory, Higgs boson
  • Summary – achievements and open problems of the standard model, what can be expected beyond its limits
