- Digital measurement system (computer-based vs. autonomous instruments), basic dividing and construction, structure topology (bus, star, circle, tree), centralized/decentralized measurement systems, open/closed measurement systems, laboratory measurement systems, standard instrument interfaces.
- Standard interfaces, serial, parallel (RS-232, GPIB, etc.), modular systems (VME, VXI, PXI, etc.), instrument interfaces for industrial measurement systems, computer plug-in measurement devices.
- Virtual instrumentation, programming software, VISA (Virtual Instrument System Architecture) library, ADE (Application Development Environment), programming of the measurement systems, SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) standard.
- LabVIEW 2013 graphical programming environment, VI principle construction, front panel, block diagram, SubVI, using of variables, programming structures, variables and constants data types, numeric, string, array, cluster, LabVIEW project, application development, and installer.
