KGG/QKGEX Geographical Field Trip in the Czech Republic

Complex field trip in geography is aimed at practical application of knowledge acquired in individual geographical disciplines. Students will visit important physical geographical and settlement localities in model areas (e.g. Broumovsko: Adršpašsko-teplické rocky town, Broumov monastery; Trutnovsko: Žacléřsko-svatoňovický coal mining district; the Giant Mts.; Frýdlantsko: the Jizerské Mts., Lázně Libverda; Českolipsko: former military area Ralsko; Mladoboleslavsko: Škoda Auto works, Dokesko). Natural and socio-economic potential of localities and possibilities of its realisation are assessed.
