  • Activity and activity coefficient of electrolytes – strong electrolytes, ion numbers, Debye-Hückel theory
  • Equilibria in solutions of weak electrolytes, development of the term "acid" and "base", quantitative description of protolytic equilibria, autoprotolysis of water, constants of acidity and basicity, buffers, pH, Henderson-Hasselbach equation, amphoteric electrolytes
  • Basic conceptions of electromotive force of galvanic cell, electrode potential, Nernst equation for electrode potential, classification of semi-cell - electrodes, electrodes of the first kind, electrodes of the second kind, oxidative-reductive electrodes, ion-selective electrodes, potentiometry, measurement of pH, potentiometric titration, electric double layer
  • Electrolysis and chemical sources of electric current, electrode polarization, overvoltage, principle of polarography, voltammetry, amperometric titration, coulometry
  • Colloidal systems, preparation of salts, dialysis, electrodialysis, ultrafiltration, sedimentation, electroosmosis, electrophoresis, emulsions, foams, aerodispersion and environment
