1. Introduction into macromolecular chemistry, history, development of polymer chemistry as a science, structure of macromolecular chemistry.
2. Nomenclature of polymers
3. Syntheses of polymer compounds. Reaction conditions leading to syntheses of polymers. Chain-growth polymerizations, polycondensations, polyaddition, polymerization of cyclic monomers, enzymatic polymerizations, polymeric proceedings
4. Sources of raw materials for polymers.
5.–6. Industrial production of polymers. Polyolefines, PVC, Polystyrene a its copolymers, phenol-formaldehyde and amino-formaldehyde resins, unsaturated and saturated polyester resins, epoxide resins, polyacrylates and polymethacrylates, other polymers.
7. Chemical transformation and modifications of polymers. Mechanical modifications of polymers, degradation reactions.
8. Molecular characterization of polymers, molecular weight, and its distribution.
9. Physical properties of polymers in solid state. Mechanical properties.
10. Manufacture of polymers, moulding, injection, extrusion, extrusion blow moulding, rooling, spinning, foaming, spraying.
11. Orientation identification of polymer materials.
