Lectures:
- History of biotechnologies, division, green biotechnology.
- Potential of plant cell and principle of plant tissue culture (technigues preserving and technigues increasing genetic variability of plants) and application in practice.
- Using of plant biotechnologies in agriculture, pharmaceutical industry, keeping the gene pool and phytoremediation.
GMO of field crops. - Application biotechnological methods in pea, bean and flax breeding.
Practices:
- Preparation of media, establishment of aseptic culture.
- Micropropagation, androgenesis, embryogenesis.
- Agrobacterium genetic transformation of peas and beans, and the effect of co-cultivation period on transformation efficiency.
