KBC/GMO Legislative of Genetically Modified Organisms and Deregulation Process

The aim of the lectures is to teach students how legislative regulates genetically modified organisms (GMO) handling, distribution and release to markets known as deregulation process. Moreover, a current situation in our country is going to be presented and compared in global with Europe and other leading countries (Japan, USA) and more interestingly with countries like Senegal where the deregulation process is just taking place. Furthermore, data about current and previous economic situation of developing (or former developing) countries (such as Brazil, Argentina or Ghana) that accepted GMO in recent years is going to be shown.
