- Introduction to phytochemistry, history, brief overview of the present state, prospects.
- Instrumental chemical analysis. Bioassays.
- Extraction, chromatographic and electromigration methods in phytochemistry.
- Identification methods (mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance, molecular spectroscopy) in phytochemistry.
- Hyphenated techniques (LC-MS, GC-MS, CZE-MS). The use of isotopes in phytochemistry.
- Examples of qualitative and quantitative analysis of secondary metabolites.
- Introduction to metabolomics.
- Introduction to pharmacognosy.
